  • John Creaney, senior barrister, N Ireland, UK, photographed in January 1973 when he took silk. After graduation from Queen's University, Belfast, and a spell at Trinity College, Dublin, he became a pupil of Basil Kelly, who was later to become Lord Justice Kelly of the N Ireland Court of Appeal. As a senior prosecuting council from 1978 until his death in June 2008, Creaney participated in many important terrorist trials. 197301000058b.<br />
