  • John Campbell, Donegall Road, Belfast, N Ireland, who was leaning on a car containing a 150lb bomb, when it exploded in the city's Oxford Street killing 9 people, of which 2 were soldiers, and injuring 130. The bomb was planted by the Provisional IRA.  At the subsequent inquests on victims of what became known as Bloody Friday he told how his clothes were blown off and he landed on the nearby bus station roof. 197302150096b.<br />
