Robert Bradford, Methodist Minister, candidate, Vanguard Progressive Unionist Party, N Ireland Assembly Election. In the 1974 UK General Election he was elected for South Belfast under the banner of a coalition of candidates opposing the Brian Faulker-led Ulster Unionists. In 1978 he joined the official Ulster Unionist Party. He was murdered by the Provisional IRA on 14th November 1981 whilst hosting a political surgery. 197306000412b
