William Deane, a brother of Martha Crawford, mother of ten young children, carries her coffin from the church following a funeral mass in West Belfast, N Ireland. She died during an exchange of fire initiated by the Provisional IRA shooting at British soldiers on patrol in West Belfast. In 1977 two men, aged 16 and 18, at the time of the shooting, were given life sentences for her murder. 3rd April 1972, 197204030159a
