A wave from Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as she travels by fairground type train from the Bournemouth Conference Centre to her hotel during the Conservative Party's annual conference in October 1990. This was to be the last party conference she attended as prime minister. Sitting beside her is Kenneth Baker, MP, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. Immediately behind and between them is Peter Morrison, Mrs Thatcher's Parliamentary Private Secretary. 19901049MT5
