Phelim O'Neill, Lord Rathcavan (2 November 1909 - 20 December 1994), politician, Northern Ireland, hereditary peer, House of Lords. Studied Eton College. Joned Royal Artillery. & became a Major during World War II. O'Neill elected to UK Parliament, Ulster Unionist, North Antrim, 1952. In 1958 elected to Northern Ireland Stormont Parliament. In 1969, he briefly served as Minister of Education before becoming the Minister of Agriculture. O'Neill joined Alliance Party of Northern Ireland in 1972. In 1982, he succeeded his father as the second Baron Rathcavan. 197302090087a.
