A detective at Dundonald RUC station, N Ireland, examines the vehicle in which Jack Mooney was killed and two colleagues, all Roman Catholics, were travelling when they arrived to start the night shift at the local Rolls-Royce factory. The UDA/UFF gun attack was on New Year's Day 1973, 1st January 1973. Jack Mooney, 31 years, was married with 2 children.
