George Saunderson, principal, Teemore Primary School, Co Fermanagh, N Ireland, who was shot dead, 10th April 1974, in the school meals kitchen. Mr Saunderson had been, until he retired the previous year, a lieutenant colonel in the 4th Battalion, UDR, Ulster Defence Regiment. He was the highest-ranking member of the UDR to be murdered. 197404100193
