Kenneth Worton, 24 years, married, two children, from Bessbrook, Co Armagh, who died 5th January 1976 when 10 Protestant workmen were gunned down by the Republican Action Force in what became known as the Kingsmills Massacre or the Whitecross Massacre. The Republican Action Force was widely considered to be an alias for the Provisional IRA retaliating for the earlier killing of members of two local Roman Catholic families by loyalist paramilitaries. 197601060017
