Major David Anthony Storrey, 19th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, 36 years, who died 14th August 1972 in a Provisional IRA claymore-type mine exploded. Major Storrey was in charge of soldiers who had commandeered the GAA ground at Casement Park, West Belfast, and was supervising the erection of anti-sniper screens when the device exploded. Another soldier, Craftsman Brian Hope, also died in the incident. 197208140586
