John Patrick O’Hanlon, 35 years, married, 6 children, who according to loyalist sources, was shot dead by the UVF, Ulster Volunteer Force, and whose body was found in Twickenham Street, off Crumlin Road, Belfast, N Ireland, 3rd July 1972. Mr O’Hanlon, who lived in North Belfast, had gone to buy chips in nearby Carlisle Square. In November 1971 Mr O’Hanlon survived an explosion at McGurk’s Bar and was one of those who clambered through the debris to rescue survivers. One of the people he rescued was John McGurk, the pub owner’s son. 197207030409
