Family members and friends watch as the coffin of 12 year old Majella O'Hare is lowered into her last resting place. Majella died from a high velocity bullet in an incident involving the British Army's Parachute Regiment near here home in Whitecross, Co Armagh, N Ireland, on 14th August 1976. The soldier involved claimed that he had been firing at a gunman and had shouted a warning. Local people strongly disputed this version of events. 197608160388b
