Mourners carry the coffin of 13 year old schoolboy Brian Stewart who was fatally injured by a rubber bullet in disputed circumstances and died in hospital on 4th October 1976. The army claimed they were under attack from stone-throwers. Local people contested this saying there was no rioting. The subsequent inquest decided Brian Stewart had been rioting and a later claim for compensation in the European Court of Human Rights was unsuccessful. Brian Stewart was from Norglen Crescent, Turf Lodge, Belfast, N Ireland. 197610070436
