James Anthony Gallagher, aka Jim Gallagher, Roman Catholic, 20 years, Derry/Londonderry, N Ireland, who was shot dead when travelling in a bus along Strand Road. The shot, one of several, came from Fort George British Army post. Subsequently an army private from 1 Bn Cheshire Regiment was charged and convicted of manslaughter. 17th May 1976. 197605170281.
