Funeral of 3 men shot dead in Newry, Co Down, N Ireland, UK, by the British Army whilst they were attempting to rob a man making a cash deposit in a nightsafe in a local bank. The three men were Sean Ruddy, Thomas James McLaughlin and Robert Anderson, all from Newry. They were unarmed and no para-military group claimed them as their members. The army stated that they had been tipped off about a imminent bombing at the banki. 197110260423
