Guardsman David Roberts, Welsh Guards, 25 years, single, from Holywell, Flintshire, Wales, who was killed 24th November 1973 just a week after he arrived in N Ireland. He died in Crossmaglen, Co Armagh, when the Provisional IRA detonated by radio a claymore-type device. It is believed he was the 200th soldier to die in N Ireland in the current Troubles. 197311240721
