Robert Burns, 18 years, apprentice mechanic, Protestant, Ballysillan, Belfast, N Ireland, who was shot dead whilst standing on a street corner with other youths, four of whom were injured in the IRA gun attack but survived. The incident on 2nd February 1973. Three days later an 18 year old Roman Catholic, Seamus Gilmore, died in a random retaliation shooting. Ironically the both victims knew each other and were friendly. More information in Lost Lives 749 and 759. 197302020077
