Denis Donaldson, prominent member, Prvovisional Sinn Fein, photographed at 1984 party conference, ard fheis. He was exposed in December 2005 as an informer in the employment of MI5 and the Special Branch of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (formerly the Royal Ulster Constabulary). It was initially believed that his assassination in April 2006 was carried out by the Provisional IRA but almost three years later the Real IRA admitted responsibility. 19840131DD2.
