Funeral of the Good Samaritan, 28 year old Samuel Llewellyn, a Protestant from the Shankill district of Belfast, N Ireland, who was murdered by the Provisional IRA. He was making his third trip with a load of hardboard to the Clonard area following a car bomb explosion when he was shot dead. Such was the outrage that many Lower Falls residents placed sympathy notices in local newspapers. The local Roman Catholic priest, Rev Padraig Murphy, St Peter's Church, Falls Road, also felt it his duty to attend the funeral. Of the 3 clergy he is on the left. 197508190604b.
