RUC station, Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, where three policemen died in a Provisional IRA booby-trap explosion 15th May 1976. The booby trap was only 20 yards away from a point where gunmen had fired on UDR soldiers leaving the police station. The victims were Sgt Henry Francis Keyes, Const Francis Joseph Kettyles and Reserve Const Thomas Henry Evans. RUC Chief Const Kenneth Newman (left with cane) is seen arrriving at Belcoo Police Station which is only a short distance from the land border with the Rep of Ireland. 19760516271BPS.
