Harry Beggs, Ravenswood Park, Belfast, N Ireland, who was engaged to be married was an early fatality in the Troubles. He died, 25th August 1971, in a Provisional IRA explosion at the Malone Road headquarters of N Ireland Electricity. Thirty five others were injured. Harry Beggs was a school friend of prominent DUP politician Peter Robinson. Years later Robinson disclosed that it was his friend's death which prompted him to enter politics. 197108250332. 25th August 1971.
