Margaret Tebbit who was seriously injured and left permanently disabled in the Provisional IRA bomb at the Grand Hotel, Brighton. Mrs Tebbit is the wife of Norman Tebbit, MP & government minister. The hotel is adjacent to to the Brighton Centre, where the UK Conservative Party's annual conference was being held. It was where Cabinet ministers and party VIPs resided during their conference. Five died and 34 were injured in the blast. 19840143MT1.
