Funeral of Tommy Herron, former vice-chairman of the UDA, who was assassinated on 16th September 1973 moves off from his East Belfast home. There were four hearses to cope with the large number of floral tributes. Herron received a paramilitary funeral. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Ian Paisley. It was attended by 25,000 mourners. He was buried at Roselawn Cemetery as a piper played Amazing Grace. 197309190590c.
